Im a twenty (not for long) something former dancer turned stay at home momma. I married my best friend in 2007. We got the dog, then the house and then I wanted a baby...he wasn't so sure. Two hip surgeries and three years later Avery Kettering was born. Now he's sooo happy she's here.
To keep my sanity I teach ballet one night a week. That sounds crazy I know, teach other peoples children while I leave mine at home, but ballet just grounds me somehow. It's much easier knowing she is having a great time with her grandma at home.
Personally I love shopping, fashion, the arts, food, etc. Avery doesn't seem to like any of those things, or at least she acts that way when i try to take her shopping or out to eat :) We spend most of our days working around Avery's schedule of naps, meds, supplements, naps etc.
This blog was originally created after Avery was born to keep a journal of her life. Since her diagnosis in 2011 it has also been an outlet for me to discuss her disorder and the ramblings of our day to day life.
**Just to be clear, I am not a doctor..duh. Anything about Avery's treatment is specific to her and her alone. Please don't take any of what I say as medical advice, again I am not a doctor, I would be a lot richer if I was :) **
